A Hebrew type design project that I did on my student exchange to Israel.
The brief was to design a typeface drawing reference from the alphabets in an existing custom logo, by understanding the style palette and the anatomy of the letterforms in the logo through manual and digital skeletons and eventually creating the remaining letters.
Do keep in mind that the direction of Hebrew text is from right to left!

The Typeface is a geometric display type called 'Gavyam' based on the logo of the same name. A complete Hebrew alphabet would have 22 letters.
